Rep Cap helped The Mom Project host
the ReCharge Summit , a one-day interactive event held the day after Mother’s Day, to celebrate working mothers and share advice for self-advocacy and empowerment in the workplace.

Background

The Mom Project is a talent marketplace that helps women, particularly mothers, remain active in the workforce in every stage of their journey. The company connects professionals and employers, creating opportunities for both to grow and thrive.

Challenge

The Mom Project wanted to host the ReCharge Summit, an online, interactive event for mothers entering and participating in the workforce. The team landed fashion designer Rachel Roy to lead a keynote, but she wasn’t available to give her talk live, adding yet another wrinkle to the client’s list of challenges. After the event, the client wanted to find a way to to adapt those hours of raw content into a sophisticated content campaign that would keep the summit’s message alive. The Mom Project faced staffing challenges for organizing and producing the live event. The client also had a limited budget for creating post-event content. It needed to hire a team that would work quickly, skillfully and within budget while delivering high-caliber content.

Solution

Rep Cap served as The Mom Project’s production partner for the summit, setting up the event in the client’s webinar platform, Hopin, ensuring guest speakers were comfortable with their technology setup and assisting with prerecorded content. On the day of the summit, Rep Cap team members greeted guests in the virtual green room and were available to help everything run smoothly. The Rep Cap team helped prerecord Rachel Roy’s keynote and blended it seamlessly with the live presentations at the event. The Rep Cap produced the live event, including managing livestreams from 7 speakers over the course of the half-day event. After the live event, Rep Cap developed high-quality written content to summarize the event and created social content to promote the on-demand version. Rep Cap refined footage from the event to create social videos and a dynamic highlight reel.

The event attracted 1658 attendees from the brand’s target demographic. The live event was incredibly well-recieved with very active attendees, who contributed 6000+ comments across the 6 live sessions. After the event, the content produced by the Rep Cap continues to keep the event’s messaging alive, providing greater exposure for The Mom Project and its value to working mothers and employers alike.

Ah, I love it! It really brought me back to that amazing day!
